Constellations Glass Straw Alum and Ink

This beautiful constellations glass straw features a starry design printed in white and yellow all around the straw and from tip-to-tip printed in non-toxic, food-safe inks onto a dark blue borosilicate glass. This straw measures 7.5″ and has a diameter of approximately 0.5″. This straw is heat and cold resistant but should never be exposed to rapidly changing temperatures or used in boiling hot liquids.

CARING FOR YOUR STRAW

This straw is not dishwasher safe, please hand wash your straw only. Over time, and with use, the print on your straw will fade, this is a normal occurrence. The inks used to print the design on your straw are non-toxic and food safe. To help the print on your straw last longer, avoid soaking in drinks for long periods of time (2+ hours) especially in highly acidic drinks such as soda. To wash the straw, use a soft cloth and mild dish soap and wash the interior of the straw with the provided brush. Slide the brush through both ends of the straw to get all of the nooks and crannies.

Always inspect your straw before using. If you find any chips or cracks in your straw, discontinue use of the straw immediately. Do not use your straw to stir ice or crush ice because this may cause the straw to crack or weaken the glass. Always thoroughly wash your straw after every use, and allow it to dry completely before storing it in the provided bamboo tube. Do not store your straw in the bamboo tube while wet for extended periods of time.

If you use your straw at a restaurant or a setting where immediate washing cannot be done, rinse your straw in some clean water, dry the outside with a clean napkin and store it the bamboo tube, or similar carrying case, then immediately wash the straw when you get home.
